Clarins Extra-Firming Review

This month saw the launch of the new Clarins Extra-Firming range, which heavily targets areas where lines and wrinkles are prominent. This super-trio concentrates on the eyes and neck by smoothing and lifting the skin with natural ingredients combined with Clarins’ patented Extra-Firming Complex.

First up, the Clarins Extra-Firming Neck Anti-Wrinkle Rejuvenating Cream; a luxuriously thick and creamy product which is best applied at night. This contains green seaweed extracts and sunflower auxins, combined with the Extra-Firming Complex to soften, smooth and firm the neck and dAi??colletage. This cream, although thick, sinks into your skin like a dream, leaving your neck feeling soft and hydrated.

The Clarins Extra-Firming Eye lift Perfecting Serum targets dark circles and puffy eyes. This serum is more gel-like in texture, which means it’s easy to apply to the eye area and it sinks into the skin quickly and efficiently. Containing albizia extract, green banana and lemon thyme, it combines nature and science seamlessly, ensuring your eyes feel tighter and younger.

The third and final item in the Extra-Firming range is the Clarins Extra-Firming Eye Wrinkle Smoothing Cream. This can be used alongside the Eye lift Perfecting Serum, adding extra hydration to your eyes when they need it most. This cream is best applied at night, leaving it to work its magic while you sleep. By reducing the appearance of any pesky crows feet and laughter lines, you look more alert and awake for the next day.

How concerned are you with anti ageing skincare items? Have you tried the new Clarins Extra-Firming collection?

Alice Carroll

I'm Alice, Al or, if you are the five year old me, Ice (yes, I did want to be a member of Kris Kross, and yes, I did wear my jeans backwards). Womenswear Editor at House of Fraser Online, I've grown out of backwards clothes and instead chose to invest my money in vintage sportswear and bomber jackets, while inking my body with unnecessary tattoos and rapping along to every word of The Streets - Original Pirate Material. My proudest moments were seeing a shoot I styled in my favourite magazine and getting a three-dart-finish in a game of darts. Oh, and Bart Simpson was my first crush.
