Hot of the catwalk: Nars at Christopher Kane

Another fashion week has been and gone and amidst all that supermodel strutting, celebrity spotting excitement, one thing I pull out my pad and paper for is most definitely the makeup looks. This season was all about fresh faced, natural, radiance. I was ecstatic to see bold unkempt brows are still very much a style staple, whilst just got out of bed, candyfloss textured hair was a firm favourite from Kinder Aguggini to Corrie Nielsen.

We go backstage with NARS who created the look for this season’s SS13 Christopher Kane runway show at London Fashion week and get top tips on how you can get supermodel makeup.

Lead makeup artist, Lucia Pieroni explained the look:

“We wanted to use Christopher’s Frankenstein inspiration and turn it into something dark but dainty, like the collection, there is subtle iridescence coming through the skin, but the prettiness is balanced by using black along the lower lashline.”
