New Brand: Creed

Creed is now available online and in selected stores

A family-owned perfume house steeped in history, there’s no wonder Creed has a cult following.

Founded in 1760 when James Henry Creed opened his first shop in London, it became a favourite of the aristocracy and Queen Victoria appointed Creed as an official supplier to the royal household.

In 1854, under the patronage of Empress Eugénie, the House of Creed moved to Paris. It manufactures many of its own essences using the traditional infusion technique – a process now abandoned by the modern perfume industry due to cost, but one which Creed maintains, offering  superior quality and originality of its fragrances.

We’ve chosen our favourites for men and women – what’s yours?

Bianca Matley

My name's Bianca, Menswear Editor. Contrary to belief, I love Eastenders but wasn't named after the character... heyday of hoops and ponytail quickly erased from memory. Times have changed (thankfully) and although I love beauty, I equally love a good men's oxford shirt and jacket or two, for myself of course. You'll now find me flicking through men's magazine pages and my favourites list is increasingly becoming male dominated. Dare I say, there's a lot to learn from their style...
