The Eyeshadow palette was gorgeous to apply and lasted all evening! I highly recommend this. The lip colour wouldnai??i??t be my usual choice but I love it for an occasion. It looks great against minimal makeup and the shine on my eyes compliments this look too.

Tested: Patent Finish Lip Colour in Infamy

It’s really pigmented; from the very first application, the colour was already visible. Further applications make the colour even richer. It’s comfortable on the lips, not sticky at all, and has a fantastic staying power. I love the packaging and the click-pen makes it is easy to control the product. I had tea, coffee, water and Lasagne and it was still there, it’s sooo good!

The new gloss is so amazingly rich in colour that you can complete your look in just one swipe. The colour really lets your lips make a statement with its extra glossy texture. My favourite shades are the Pink A95 which would look great to complete any Spring outfit and the Red A35 to vamp up any night time look. The pen also makes the gloss really easy and quick to apply!

I tried this eye colour quad out for a subtle daytime look, and used the lighter shimmery shades all over my lid. It tapped into the gloss-lid trend at Thakoon this season. The quad includes a mini brush, which means I can apply these shadows in a hurry on the train! To go a little bolder, I’d smoke the glitter out with the darker grey-blue shade, and blend the bright-navy blue along my lashline.
I loved the glossy, patent finish of the lip colour – it’s exactly what it promised to be. It is glossy without being sticky, a red-berry stain without feeling too heavy, and it applied really well. I love the sponge tip applicator; super easy to apply despite it’s rich red shade.

This Tom Ford palette has a great mix of shades that can be used Ai??for a subtle shimmer in the day using the silver and pinks to a more dramatic evening look where you can create a great Smokey eye using the purple and pink shades.

Tested: Golden Mink Eye Shadow Palette & Sphinx CrA?me Colour Eyeshadow

I tried the eye palette first, blending in the shiny golden colour into the inside of my eye and the darker brown on the outside. I took the lighter nude colour and dabbed it in the middle of my eyelid to create depth ( this is called spotlighting). I loved the way the colours gave my eyes a natural look, perfect for work. Next, I tested the eyeshadow which I quickly became a massive fan of. Gone are the days of eyeshadow dust sprinkled over my face, thanks to the creamy texture. It gave me a really defined eye colour and instantly made my eyelids shine. A little dab of this on your finger should do the trick over the whole eye. I was really impressed with how it stayed on for the whole day and didnai??i??t smudge at all. Love it!

As you can guess this meant I grew up around a lot of hairspray and glitter, hence my love for all things beauty (Urban Decay and M.A.C are my saviours!). The rest of my time is either spent devouring feta, beetroot and quinoa salads, watching The Millionaire Matchmaker or getting broody over super cute kids’ clothes.
