Charnos National Stockings Day

Hold up, it’s National Stockings Day – Give Breast Cancer Care a leg up!

Friday. Probably the best day of the week. And this week, you can have that Friday feeling while helping charity, with Charnos’ National Stockings Day.

National Stockings Day encourages women to ditch their everyday tights and, instead, sport a pair of stockings/hold-ups underneath their workwear – all in the name of Breast Cancer Care.

Created six years ago by Charnos Hosiery, National Stockings Day aims to give women a feeling of empowerment and during a time when they may not be feeling too feminine – Charnos want to see you embrace yourselves, ladies!

Sheer Stockings, Opaque Hold-Ups, Suspender Tight

Near London Marylebone train station? Pop in to see stocking-clad beauties take over the station, wearing workwear inspired clothes, complete with a top hat! The girls will be asking you to dig deep! As fun as the day will be, the core aim is to promote awareness of Breast Cancer Care and the women, and family, that are directly affected by breast cancer.

Alice Carroll

I'm Alice, Al or, if you are the five year old me, Ice (yes, I did want to be a member of Kris Kross, and yes, I did wear my jeans backwards). Womenswear Editor at House of Fraser Online, I've grown out of backwards clothes and instead chose to invest my money in vintage sportswear and bomber jackets, while inking my body with unnecessary tattoos and rapping along to every word of The Streets - Original Pirate Material. My proudest moments were seeing a shoot I styled in my favourite magazine and getting a three-dart-finish in a game of darts. Oh, and Bart Simpson was my first crush.
