Triumph – Women In Making Event

On Thursday night we popped down to Covent Garden where Triumph have set up shop from September to December, where they will be bringing you a whole host of events showcasing Women in Making.

The concept behind the new campaign springs from the company’s support of business women – Triumph, official sponsors of London Fashion Week, wanted to show off women who are excelling in their area of expertise, led by a celebrity collection made up of Paloma Faith, Gizzi Erskine, Roksanda Ilincic and Grace Woodward.

Supporting Women In Making - Triumph

Between the champagne, dancey tunes and celeb attendees, the event showcased the non-celeb makers, giving all of us lot a chance to appreciate these women and their craft; from jewellery desginers to miliners, chocolatiers to artists. Fancy a go yourself? Why not pop along and try your hand at a new craft…

Alice Carroll

I'm Alice, Al or, if you are the five year old me, Ice (yes, I did want to be a member of Kris Kross, and yes, I did wear my jeans backwards). Womenswear Editor at House of Fraser Online, I've grown out of backwards clothes and instead chose to invest my money in vintage sportswear and bomber jackets, while inking my body with unnecessary tattoos and rapping along to every word of The Streets - Original Pirate Material. My proudest moments were seeing a shoot I styled in my favourite magazine and getting a three-dart-finish in a game of darts. Oh, and Bart Simpson was my first crush.
