You’re probably dreaming of the warmer months – holidays, the white sand between your toes and long summer evenings. Well, here at House of Fraser HQ we’re getting into the swing of Autumn/Winter ’13. Today it’s a little drizzly in the capital, so what better time to show you what’s in store and get you prepped for when the cold weather returns at the end of the year…
Eye-catching details will remain key for AW13 with faux fur-trimmed hoods, contrasting leather details and toggles adding depth to outerwear – I adore Quiksilver’s drawstring hooded sweatshirt (the drawstring just happens to be headphones, don’t you know!).
If you loved festive fair isle prints this season, then fear not. This traditional pattern will make a welcome return once again, plus Lyle and Scott’s classic jumpers are ideal if you prefer a more understated approach to knitwear.
Jersey sweatshirts, polos with contrasting collars and patterned shirts were all stand-out items in our AW13 preview – definitely pieces to add to your wardrobe wishlist for the colder months next season.
Top tip: Look out for sports-inspired silhouettes as the sports luxe trend is going nowhere and transcends the seasons.
Here are a few snaps to get you in the mood….

Just found the blog. I bought 2 Mens SKOPES Suits, they were incredible value.
What was special is I travel from Europe to the Middle East and to Asia and the suits are mainly wool 60%, stretch and the creases hang out and after three months not had to have pressed.
It is great to be able to write a compliment, service from House of Fraser was also great.
Before I paid 400 pounds for a similar suit from House of Fraser this time I bought 2 and cost me 300 pounds.
Well done House of Fraser selling a strong BRAND SKOPES
Regards
