Christmas time is (most certainly) in the air again – as Charlie Brown would have it! Oh, darlings, I am simply in raptures since the start of December; the advent calendar is merrily counting down the days, the little ones are all rosy cheeks with woollen mittens and Mr C’s in his element, to say the least.
The pantry is seasonally stuffed to bursting with jars of steeped fruit and winter preserves, little boxes of candied peel and homemade sweets, bags of chestnuts and Clementine and boxes and boxes of Christmas spirit of an alcoholic nature. And there is no stopping the cheer now that we are all freely tucking into the mince pies and mulled wine; I feel a fabulously festive Christmas film fest coming on!
It has to be time for my Christmas list of the best and the most Christmassy of all the Christmas movies of all time – yes, it’s a big ask; but I’ve always been one for a challenge and lovelies, I am certain that you will approve. Would I let you down?
