Want to meet Elizabeth Hurley? 5 lucky customers will win the chance to meet the star on the 23rd of May. All you need to do is comment below, telling us which of the three designs is your favourite and why. We’ll pick and notify winners on Monday 21st May. Good Luck!
The capsule collection is the model and actress’ first foray into home interiors and exudes glamour and sophistication. Inspired by her travels, the modern designs will bring an exotic feel to any bedroom. The collection offers a range of three printed bedlinen designs in 100% cotton alongside coordinating accessories featuring bold damask and paisley prints, with embellished and embroidered cushions and soft velvet runners. We caught up with Elizabeth to find out a little bit more…
Q. This is your first foray into interior design. Is it something that you’d like to expand on?
My home is my sanctuary and I am always excited to return to it after my travels. It’s very important to me that it feels easy and relaxed, and using beautiful soft furnishings makes a difference. Bedrooms are so important as we spend a third of lives in bed, but after that I love table linens. I love laying the table for a special lunch or dinner, so maybe I’ll have a go at that next.
Q. Your new bed linen collection is inspired by travel and your global experiences. Where in particular influenced the designs?
I’ve always been obsessed with making my own bedroom as sexy and relaxing as possible, so I jumped at the chance to design some bed linen. My initial three designs were inspired by my love of the exotic. Some of the patterns are taken from marble fretwork I saw in Rajasthan.
Q. What are your top tips for creating a beautiful bedroom with a relaxing, Zen atmosphere?
Women traditionally decorate bedrooms and choose the bedding, and most men I talk to seem to be ok with this! Sleek lines and masculine colours don’t feel sexy to most women, and in my collection people have responded really well to the throws, cushions and other soft touches. Lighting is very important too-harsh overhead light is horrific; it needs to be soft and sensual, but you also need to be able to switch on a good reading lamp.

Persian Lime is me, all the way! A bit more daring with colour, but with lots of style and sophistication. Love the travel feel, so I can feel like I’m waking up under the sun, even if there’s only rain outside the window
Would love to meet Elizabeth Hurley!

My favourite design has to be the Persian Lime.
It looks so bright, refreshing and relaxing. The type where you just want to sink into and stay there.

I like the Tobago because of it’s symmetrical design and neutral colors.

I choose Tobago. It is a very nice pattern and color. I really like the Aruba linens as well, but they are too dark for the decor.

Elizabeth Hurley brought a glamourous revolution on home furnishing. I personally loved all the above three designs but if i had to pick one, that would be the persian lime. We are in summer and lime green is the colour of the season. It’s the 3 R for me-refreshing, rejuvenating and relaxing. I loved the way a dreamy flowery prints blended so well with the lime and how that connects a sense of purity with the pop of quintessential summer-white in it.

Wow!! Tobago is the perfect balance between swish male and female desires needed within a bedroom – to give you that sense of being somewhere suave, sophisticated and most of all completely satisfying! Love love love this design Liz – so calm just looking at the photo so just imagine how I would feel in it!!

The Aruba style has to be my favourite! Clearly Elizabeth Hurley has been influenced by the Gossip Girl set designers -her most recent acting role – as the “Persian Lime” colours can be seen in Serena’s bedroom on the show, while the “Aruba” colours are quintessentially Blair Waldorf! Who wouldn’t love the Aruba design though? The calm, luxuriant colours would be perfect in any bedroom – especially mine!

I be the Tobago linen as it is a classtic, timeless design and suits the way my bedroom is decorated. It has this small but all important detail that defines a linen from a really beautiful linen!
