Anna Wintour Frenzy

Yes London Fashion Week has been and gone for another season. This season celebrated the 25th anniversary of the British Fashion Council, sadly there was not much in the way of birthday cake.
But it it did mean the return of some of our very best exports including Matthew Williamson, Burberry Prorsum and Jonathan Saunders. It also meant a good celebrity turn out including Victoria Beckham, Roisin Murphy, Michelle from Destiny’s Child, David Walliams, Kate Moss, Paloma Faith, VV Brown, Freida Pinto, Emma Watson, Erin O’Connor, Twiggy, Jade Parfitt, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and the usual Alexa Chung, Pixie and Peaches. But it wasn’t any of these who caused a stir, well perhaps Mrs Beckham caused a fair bit of commotion but it was the arrival of US Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
For those of you who don’t know, and shame on you, Anna Wintour is the person who shapes the fashion world. She can make or break a designer with one look and if you remember Meryl Streep’s formidable character in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ she was based on Wintour.
Yes, she is a force to be reckoned with, and never comes to London Fashion Week. So her arrival sent everyone crazy, staff dressing up and on best behaviour, people waiting for a glimpse of the immaculate bob and sunnies. She did her tour of the exhibition and attended the most high profile shows, although was planted rather embarrassingly next to Pixie Geldof and Alexa Chung at Twenty8Twelve, and was rather displeased by the fact us Brits are incapable of starting a show on time.
So we thought to celebrate the queen of fashion herself, that we would create a style homage to this terrifying yet staggeringly intriguing woman. There are three style rules to the Wintour look: 1. No black 2. Large sunglasses 3. The perfect blow dry
