A spot of golf? Let me take my bra off…

Triumph, the lingerie brand that is a staple in most women’s lingerie drawer, has created a bit of a novelty. In Japan golf has become big business amongst Japanese women, with specialist magazines and designer golfing gear. But Triumph have gone one step further and invented a bra that doubles as a putting green. No we haven’t gone crazy, it’s true. The corset style top can be unrolled and creates a 1.5m long putting mat. When the user gets the ball into the cup, an in built speaker says “Nice Shot”. It also has pockets for extra golf balls, tees and a flag pin that doubles as a score pencil. Even stranger still, the set comes with a skirt that has written “Be Quiet” on it, and the skirt also masquerades as a flag. Triumph make two novelty brads a year in Japan to highlight new social trends, the last was a husband hunter bra. It’s certainly novel. [Telegraph]

Lorraine Candy, editor of Elle UK, has just been announced as Women’s Magazine Editor of the Year by the British Society of Magazine Awards. This really is quite the achievement, and is really very exciting for all Elle readers.
