Champagne is good for you

No… really… it is! Researchers from Reading University have found that champagne is full of polyphenols. These are plant chemicals which can widen the blood vessels by boosting gas nitric oxide in the blood, thus promoting better circulation to the heart and brain. It is also thought that cava and prosecco also have the same health benefits. But if champagne isn’t your thing, then never fear, polyphenols are also found in tea, olive oil, onions, leeks, broccoli and blueberries. Champagne breakfast? Well it’d be unhealthy not to. X Factor… the shake up

Joe has only just been crowned and yet rumours are rife about what the next series of the X Factor will be like, or who will be judging? Simon Cowell has told the News of The World that:

“A lot of things are going to change for next year – if we bring the show back”

Cowell also added further fuel to the Robbie Williams fire, it has been reported that Robbie could join the judging panel as either a fifth judge or to replace Cheryl. But Dannii is also rumoured to be on her way out, and could be replaced by former Spice Girl Mel B. Who would be on your dream panel? [Handbag]

The gorgeous Rachel Weisz is UK Vogue’s January cover model. She was photographed by Tom Craig and inside you can read all about Rachel’s new role in the tearjerker Lovely Bones. Talking of flashy fashion magazines, V magazine is reportedly set to release a statement that their January offering shall be dedicated to plus size models. Curvy models including Crystal Renn are set to be photographed by Terry Richardson, Bruce Weber and Karl Lagerfeld. But as Catwalk Queen rightly asks, has Lagerfeld had a change of heart?
