Dannii Minogue turns fashion designer

The X Factor judge has made quite the turnaround this year. Before Cheryl stole the focus but now Dannii is back on top, which is partly down to her killer wardrobe and edgier look. Tabitha Bags founder Tabitha Webb is friends with Dannii and it is reported the pair have hooked up to create a fashion line. It will be a standalone label, and will apparently be out next summer. Nothing else is known, is this a wise move for the singer? Will her natural flair for style translate to a high street collection? Only time will tell. [Catwalk Queen]

Julia Roberts is the new face of Lancome

We haven’t seen much of Julia of late, but it looks like she’s on her way back. Julia Roberts has just been signed as the new global ambassador for Lancome. It hasn’t been revealed what her role actually entails, but it is Julia’s first beauty signing. Youcef Nabi, president of Lancome International said:

Jingle Bell Ball fashion highs and lows

There were some real fashion crimes at this weekend’s Jingle Bell Ball. Those who wowed were Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott, both looked chic, stylish and right on trend. However there were few fashion highs, with the majority of outfits being crimes against style. The Saturdays and Sugababes really lost the fashion plot, as for Miley Cyrus, Alesha Dixon, Janet Jackson and Shakira, the less said the better. [Look]
