Grammy Awards = Fashion disasters

Oh dear, another awards show, another red carpet of frock-abominations, it was a staggering display of ill-fitting dresses and just bizarre creations. Of course Lady GaGa led the way in her Armani Prive. Actually although weird it wasn’t a terrible dress, but the yellow dip-dye hair and drag queen eye make up was another story. As for her ‘cheeky’ short number, well a visible bum is rarely a good look. Onwards and upwards? No not really, Katy Perry’s Zac Posen gown was stunning from the back, but the front was just unflattering. Beyonce’s Stephane Rolland dress showed off her fabulous figure, but was just hideous. Now, Rihanna, we quite loved this, her Elie Saab creation was quirky but rather glamorous, we liked the hip draping. One of the worst offenders has to be Britney Spears, words escape us as to how bad this Dolce & Gabbana looked. Jennifer Lopez also left her style head at home, with her bizarre look. Lea Michele, Keri Hilson and Nicole Kidman brought fashion back, but on the whole it was a night of fashion disasters. [Daily Mail]

Cheese as a face mask?

Apparently wonder creams are passé, it’s all about getting back to nature, and by nature we mean cheese. Yes that’s right, cheese like you would put on toast. Researchers have claimed that Cheshire cheese when mixed with double cream produces a skin loving paste. This paste is then put on the skin for 15 minutes and is said to have an immediate effect on dry skin. It’s believed that this cheesy mask will help combat signs of aging. Brangelina back on?

Are they? Aren’t they? No-one knows. But after last week’s revelations that the relationship was over, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stepped out together at the Director’s Guild of American Awards. Angelina looked stunning in Elie Saab, sadly Brad is still sporting that awful beard. Other stars at the event included Carey Mulligan and Zoe Saldana, but of course it was Angelina and Brad who stole the show. Does this mean that all is well in Brangelina land? [InStyle]
