Daily Gossip: Russell Brand, Lindsay Lohan and Heidi Klum
Russell and Katy engaged
Serial lothario Russell Brand is to wed his girlfriend of four months singer Katy Perry. The pair started dating back in September, and have been rather public with their relationship, particularly Katy posting pictures for Russell on Twitter. Russell had been spotted looking at rings, and now his spokesman has confirmed that Russell Brand and Katy Perry are engaged. The relationship was reportedly blessed whilst the couple holidayed in India by a ‘love guru’. It’s certain to be a kooky wedding, but can you really know a person in four months? What do you make of their engagement? [InStyle]
Has Lindsay Lohan been copying designs?
Sketches of Lindsay Lohan’s expanded 6126 line were only released a few days ago, and already she’s in the firing line. One of Lindsay’s designs is a pair of leggings called “Diamond” with a cutout on the thigh, but designer James Lillis has hit back. The blog world was alight, due to the startling similarities between Miss Lohan’s and Mr Lillis’ designs. Lillis was of course far from amused, writing on his blog:
“Caught a sneak peek at the new stuff from Lindsay Lohan’s brand 6126… No way… Sucks to be me!!!”
But if that wasn’t bad enough, fashionista.com seem to have spotted another copy, with the ‘Deserve’ dress looking rather similar to one of Jen Kao’s spring dresses. This is made all the more suspect, as Lindsay has been pictured in this particular dress. The president of 6126, Kristi Kaylor, has hit back remarking that the images are purely sketches and therefore impossible to claim that they are copies as they do not go into detail as to fabric, construction, etc. Let the battle commence. Heidi Klum to launch maternity lines
She is by definition a yummy mummy, having had four children yet holding on to a body to die for, she is the mum to aspire to. Knowing this, Heidi is to launch two maternity lines next month. The first is called Lavish by Heidi Klum for store A Pea in the Pod, and the second is Loved by Heidi Klum for Motherhood Maternity. Lavish focuses on dressier pieces, whilst Loved is more affordable and comfort focused. Heidi has always remained stylish throughout her pregnancies, would you buy Heidi’s maternity line?
