If you love sunshine, music, beautiful people and some of the best bars in the world, Ibiza is the only place the holiday this summer. Renowned for its stunning music and hedonistic nightlife, for years it has been the go-to place to really let loose while catching some rays, and its popularity doesn’t look like waning anytime soon.
If you have your ticket booked to the White Isle this August, four stylish Ibiza experts give us the low-down on what to wear, no matter what the occasion…
Day To Night

Let me just start by saying, I am a total Ibiza-phile. My first trip to the White Isle was when I was 19 and I have revisited every year since. One thing I know is that Ibiza is completely spontaneous, there’s always something fun going on if you know where to look. It’s likely that you’ll go straight from the beach to pre party drinks. When you can’t be bothered to go home and get changed you might end up staying out all night.
So my first rule of dressing is ‘make sure you’re covered for all eventualities’. A good tip is to wear a bikini under all of your outfits, beach and club, especially a neon one if you want to stand out from the crowd. For day time go down the boho route, think global traveller and for night clubbing seek out the sequins and shine. Wedges or jewelled flat sandals work well for both night and day. Ibiza has such a mash up of styles and trends that girls in bikinis and flip flops dance alongside perfectly groomed party princesses. To look like an islander wear white, it’s a cool colour for the day and glows bright under the UV lights at night, perfect for the White Isle.

For a gig in Ibiza, it’s all about a casual look, glammed up with some great jewellery. The devil’s in the details; I’d layer some staple pieces, like an open-shoulder white crop tee, with some bright colours, like multi-tone shorts, dressy sandals with a jewel embellishment (I’m loving studded ones at the moment) and lots of gold jewellery, or a great beaded dream-catcher necklace. Ibiza’s got a hippy vibe at times, so I throw in a flower garland headband if I was feeling naughty.

To create the ideal Ibiza Pool Party look for summer 2013 team a cute one piece or wrap around bikini with some statement neon jewellery and a pair of wedges for that perfect poolside style!

Rules are meant to be broken. Here on Ibiza we like to break as many as possible. I’m talking fashion rules rather than any that may see you deported. The moment you land on this magical rock, your body become enraptured by the heady scent of freedom and playfulness. You feel different. Shinier. Sexier.
On an Island where the adventure and fun never stops, expect the unexpected. A day on the beach meeting new people may turn into an impromptu invite on board a yacht or villa party. Finding that all essential outfit to take you from beach to lounge bar is key to your Ibiza look. Rock your bikini with the ultimate cover up. A kaftan or tiny denim cut offs. Embellished sandals keep this look nonchalant and cool. Complete your boho luxe vibe with a piece of artisan jewellery.
If you’re hitting one of the super clubs then ramp it up. Think Festival Fashion – then add embellishment and some serious body painting action. Short sexy dresses are ok but leave the Laboutians at home to avoid blood on the dance floor. Wedges really are a girl’s best friend when it comes to dancing all night.
