Kate Middleton: MaxMara Names Coat in her Honour

Not that it needed any more confirmation, but Kate Middleton’s status as a style icon was well and truly cemented today as it was announced that MaxMara have named a coat after her. The brand have honoured the Duchess of Cambridge by renaming their beige cashmere coat the ‘Kate’ Coat.

In true Kate Middleton style, the coat is a timeless piece, made from a wool and cashmere blend and featuring a tonal bow belt, Kate wore the coat to a public appearance last November and the brand will now be reissuing it due to it’s popularity.

So if you want to steal Kate Middleton’s style, better hurry, as the ‘Kate’ coat won’t be around for long.

Hi I'm Kate, in a previous life I was Womenswear Editor but these days you are more likely to find me pouring over a planning calendar than the latest copy of Elle in my role as Online Content Producer. A Northern tourist in London, some of my favourite things in life include red wine, chutney (accompanied by cheese), sequins, grey cashmere and Matt Damon. I am known in the HoF office for owning far too many coats for one person, laughing too loud, and drinking full fat Coke only when hungover. My life's ambition is a simple one; to own a Puggle.
