My Week In…Therapy

Whatai??i??s your schedule like this week? Work? Dinner with friends? After work drinks? Sunday on the sofa? Important meeting? We all lead busy lives where each week calls for numerous outfits for an abundance of occasions. But what happens when you can only wear one brand for an entire week? We decided to put it to the test.

We challenged House of Fraser Buyer Jemma to only wear Therapy clothing for an entire week. We also happened to pick one of her busiest weeks of the year with Fashion Week, a trip to Paris and a big presentation to her boss all thrown into the 7 days. This is how she got onai??i??

Day 1 – Big Presentation

Big day today as I have to present the Therapy AW14 collection to my director so need to look smart but feel comfortable. I choose this loose-fitting pleated back skirt and bouclAi?? skirt teamed with some tan ankle boots. Luckily both the presentation and my chosen outfit were a big success so day one is done without a hitch!

Day 2 – Fashion Week

Itai??i??s the last day of London Fashion Week and I have a few shows to attend so need to hold my own amongst the fash pack. Fortunately both this biker jacket with leather look sleeves and wool shift dress with faux leather panel are on-trend yet still comfortable enough for day-to-day at the office.

Day 3: Day of Meetings

The classic British weather is back with a vengeance today so I turn to this practical duffle coat. It’s lovely and warm so is perfect for heading out for lots of supplier meetings today worn with the new style skinny jeans and a jumper.

Day 4 -Day at the Office

My diary for Thursday is looking slightly calmer so with no meetings on the horizon, comfort is key. These black skinny jeans are perfect because they contain stretch so are comfy to wear all day long and this sequin jumper adds a touch of sparkle which is always a good thing!

Day 5 – After Work Drinks

Friday has finally arrived so itai??i??s time to let my hair down. Iai??i??m meeting friends straight after work so choose this tulip shape dress. Teamed with the classic boucle jacket itai??i??s still office appropriate and I simply add a clutch bag and swap my flats for heels come 5.30pm.

Day 6 – Trip to Paris

Hello Paris! I have popped over the channel for 24-hours with my friend to do some shopping. The weather is beautiful and sunny so I have opted for this striped skater style dress. Super comfy for walking around all day and the classic Breton print means I fit right in.

Day 7 – Lazy Sofa Sunday

After a busy week, itai??i??s time to relax. My flatmates and I head out for some Sunday lunch to then return for an afternoon of TV watching and flicking through magazines. This cosy cable knit jumper and leggings are perfect; comfy yet much more acceptable for the outside world than my onesie!

This was certainly a week where I needed to look and feel my best and Therapy did not let me down. With so much choice I didnai??i??t feel stuck for something to wear once and even when attending the shows at Fashion Week, I felt stylish and on-trend yet still professional enough for work. I will definitely be wearing Therapy more often and canai??i??t wait to see what the next collection holds.

Kate O'Brien

Hi I'm Kate, in a previous life I was Womenswear Editor but these days you are more likely to find me pouring over a planning calendar than the latest copy of Elle in my role as Online Content Producer. A Northern tourist in London, some of my favourite things in life include red wine, chutney (accompanied by cheese), sequins, grey cashmere and Matt Damon. I am known in the HoF office for owning far too many coats for one person, laughing too loud, and drinking full fat Coke only when hungover. My life's ambition is a simple one; to own a Puggle.
