Stanley Tucci

Though Stanley may have played the role of Miranda Priestley’s right-hand man in the film The Devil Wears Prada, in real life he has just as strong fashion credentials. He rocks sophisticated suits in black and navy. He chooses classic cuts even when he’s dressing more casually. And he makes scarves look great - no easy feat.

His go-to get-up is a lesson in nautical-inspired perfection. A white blazer can look pretentious, but paired, as Stanley does, with a striped polo, relaxed trousers and minimalist sneakers, he takes it to just the right side of classical formal. Exemplary.

Style notes: great suits, classic fits and striped scarves.

Johannes Huebl

One half of one of the world’s most stylish couples, aka the husband of Olivia Palermo, model Johannes Huebl is unequivocally well-dressed. His go-to? Great tailoring. Think blazers, long-line coats and navy suits.

His cuts tend to be slimline and modern, and he sticks to buttery neutrals, black, navy, grey and ever-flattering sage. There’s a very European sensibility about the way he dresses, but paired with New York polish.

And let’s not forget about his shoes, of which he has designed his own line with Italian brand Scarosso.

Style notes: great blazer, simple knitwear (preferably cashmere), excellent slim chinos.

Jim Chapman

The YouTuber, model and writer is a bona fide menswear expert. His look is guy-next-door, but the most stylish guy your neighbourhood has seen. The secret? He mixes standout pieces with style regulars.

He’ll pair a great printed shirt with simple, tapered trousers, or an unusual graphic tee with a pocketed jacket. He looks sharp in peach and isn’t afraid of texture, regularly sporting suede and cord. His most recognisable looks are a shacket-style jacket or a bomber, which being tall, breaks up his proportions beautifully.

All in all, he manages to look ordinary but also outstanding at the same time, which is that most elusive of fashion equations we all want to achieve.

Style notes: pair a statement piece with a neutral backdrop.

Donald Glover

Multi-talented Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) has a distinctive sense of style. A quick Google and you’ll see his look is very nostalgic, with ‘70s and ‘80s references aplenty.

It takes a certain amount of confidence to pull this off. A granddad-esque knitted polo, for example, will be paired with classic loafers. A mustard-yellow leather jacket (hard to envisage working ordinarily) is teamed with a classic white shirt.

He pulls off suiting with panache. The orange two-piece with a retro patterned shirt he wore to the Black Panther premiere was standout. The key? Keep it a little undone. A slightly messy barnet and a bit of chest hair (not recommended for everyone we know) gives the impression he’s not trying too hard – which he isn’t. We can tell.

Style notes: mellow ‘70s colours, luxe textures and classic leather loafers.

Richard Biedul

Model and influencer Richard Biedul is famous not just for his excellent cheekbones and distinctive grey hair, but for his effortless style. Like a classic film star of yesteryear, he pulls off everything with an air of laidback glamour. Not many could sport a string vest with braces and still look razor sharp.

He goes for loose cuts and high-waisted trousers. He picks vintage touches, like braces and a neck tie, and expensive fabrics. He's a masterclass in layering - think a t-shirt, under a shirt, under a light jacket for example. He’s inspired us to sling a blazer over our shoulder or keep a hand in a trouser pocket for that easy cool vibe. If we could be anyone in this world, we’re pretty sure we’d like to be Richard. Or anyone on this list, for that matter.

Style notes: loose, breezy silhouettes and high-waisted trousers.
